TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL TERMS

  • Sama Wellness Studio reserves the right to add, change or remove our operational procedures from time to time. These changes include but are not limited to changes to operational hours, opening days, closing for refurbishment or public holidays, and amending class types, styles, teachers, times, membership packages and pricing. All changes will appear on our website and booking platform.
  • Sama Wellness Studio is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.
  • The front door to the studio will be locked at the beginning of class for safety and security. Late entry will not be permitted. We also encourage you to remain for the duration of the session.
  • Sama Wellness Studio will endeavour to start and finish classes at the scheduled time.
  • Sama Wellness Studio is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings. We encourage you to bring only what is needed for the class you are attending.
  • Classes at Sama Wellness Studio may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss or death. Sama Wellness Studio is no way liable for any injury, loss of property or death resulting from attending our studio.
  • Class passes and memberships exclude attendance at guest teachers’ classes, workshops or other special events.
  • Sama Wellness Studio does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final.

    STUDIO ETIQUETTE

    • Sama Wellness Studio reserves the right to cancel your membership and/or refuse access or entry to any person to its premises or to participate in any classes either online or in studio for any cause, including but not limited to;
      1. Acts of rudeness, discrimination, harassment, intimidation or bullying (in person and on social media) towards staff or other students;
      2. Intoxication;
      3. Non-payment of class or membership fees or any other circumstances in which disrupts or prevents Sama Wellness Studio from maintaining a safe and nurturing space where all are welcomed.

    PHOTOGRAPHY

    • From time to time, Sama Wellness Studio may capture or hire a professional to capture imagery or video contents to be used in the promotion of the studio. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you accept that you may appear in promotional material for Sama Wellness Studio.

    COPYRIGHT

    • The content on our website belongs to us or to who someone who has given us permission to use it. If you are using our website and its content for purposes other than personal or non-commercial reasons then you must get our written permission.

    PRICING

    • All prices, products and offers include GST and are in AUD.
    • Prices may increase from time to time. Notice of any such increase will be provided on our website and booking system. Notification by email will be provided to existing students.
    • All prices are correct at the time of online publication.

    MEMBERSHIPS AND PASSES

    • Pricing for our memberships are costed at practicing for a 48 week year, which means we’ve built in at least 4 weeks of missed sessions, whether it’s due to closures over holiday periods, sickness, or your travel schedule.

    INTRODUCTORY OFFER

    • The Introductory Offer of unlimited yoga is available only once and cannot be suspended for any reason.
    • No further discounts or concessions apply.
    • The Intro offer cannot be used on speciality series or associated drop in classes for these series – seperate fees apply.
    • Late cancellation and No Show Fees apply.
    • Students may only purchase the Intro Offer once.
    • The activation date of the offer is the date of the first booking.

    TRAVELLER

    • The Traveller pass of unlimited yoga for either; 1 week, 2 weeks or 4 weeks and cannot be suspended for any reason.
    • No further discounts or concessions apply.
    • The activation date of the offer is the date of the first booking.
    • Students may purchase the Traveller pass as often as needed, no direct debit set up required.
    • The Traveller Pass cannot be used on specialty series or associated drop in classes for these series.
    • Late cancellation and No Show Fees apply.

    DROP IN – PAY AS YOU GO

    • Valid for one class.
    • No further discounts or concessions apply.
    • No refund or transfer. 
    • Cancelling a drop in class, does not provide a credit to be used at a later time.
    • Drop In for regular timetabled classes and drop in availability for speciality series or courses are priced differently.
    • Late cancellation and No Show Fees apply.

    CONNECT PASS – 10 PACK

    • Purchasing the Connect Pass provides you with 10 class credits to use within 12 weeks of your first booking.
    • Purchasing a Connect Pass is non refundable or transferable.
    • Refunds are not offered on unused portions of the 10 classes pack due to illness, injury, change of address or any other reason.
    • Pauses are not enable available on a Connect Pass.
    • You can reschedule booked classes on the Connect Pass provided the cancelation is not within the late cancelation window of 2 hours before class. Cancelations made within the late cancelation window or no show to a class results in the class credit forfeit. Late cancellation and No Show Fees apply.

    MEMBERSHIP – EVOLVE

    • Direct Debit Membership agreements are for a minimum term of three months.
    • This membership allows you to unlimited regularly scheduled classes, but excludes guest teachers, workshops or other special events.
    • This membership allows you to purchase Peter Hess Wellness Sound Massages with a 20% discount.
    • This membership allows you to purchase individual Sauna and Contrast Therapy sessions with a 20% discount.
    • This membership allows you to purchase special events and courses with a 15% discount.
    • This membership allows you to purchase APANA products with a 10% discount.
    • You may bring one free guest to any class once a month. This benefit does not roll over and cannot be exchanged for its monetary value. 
    • After the expiry of the minimum term, the membership will continue indefinitely until you advise Sama Wellness Studio at hello@samawellnessstudio.com.au that you wish to cancel your membership. Requests will not be accepted by any other means other than email. We require 30 days to process any such cancellation.
    • You may suspend your membership for periods longer than 7 days and no more than 3 months in any twelve month period due to medical reasons preventing you from safely practicing. Requests to suspend memberships must be made in writing by emailing us at hello@samawellnessstudio.com.au Requests will not be accepted by any other means than email. Please allow 7 business days to process any such suspension.
    • Membership cancelations within the minimum three month term require the remaining minimum term to be met financially for the direct debit to be terminated. 
    • Membership rates may increase from time to time. While your membership is active, you will maintain the rate of your membership. Should you cancel and re-join at a later date, you will be charged according to the rate in which you commence the new membership.
    • It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover the automatic direct-debit. Should a direct debit payment be declined for any reason, our third party booking software reserves the right to re-process payment at anytime via further direct debit attempts or to stored cards to settle any debts owed. Failed direct-debits attract a $5 additional bank charge by our third party provider, which will be passed on. 
    • Sama Wellness Studio is not responsible for additional bank fees that you may incur from your bank. Bank fees are under the same terms and conditions of contractual agreements that lie between you and your bank.
    • If auto-debit payments fail for 2 payments or more, Sama Wellness Studio may cancel the membership. Any debts owed, will need to be cleared before attendance to further classes casually or by new membership agreements.

    MEMBERSHIP – EVOLVE *FIFO*

    • The Evolve *FIFO* membership is bound to the same terms as the Membership – Evolve.
    • Please contact the studio at hello@samawellnessstudio.com.au to organise a payment schedule to compliment your swing structure.

      WORKSHOPS, COURSES AND EVENTS

      • Sama Wellness Studio does not offer refund or credits on workshops, courses or events for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reasons. All purchases are final.
      • If you cannot attend, you may transfer your workshop, course or event into another persons name by emailing us at hello@samawellnessstudio.com.au at least 24 hours before the starting date and time.
      • Full payment is required upon booking.Please arrive at least 10 minutes before scheduled start time of workshops and events. Doors will close 2 minutes before the start time. Late entry to workshops and events will not be permitted. Latecomers will be considered a no show.Late cancellation and No Show Fees apply.

      BOOKING WINDOWS, WAITLISTS + CANCELLATIONS

      • Sama Wellness Studio reserves the right to cancel any class, workshop, course or special event. A minimum of three people is required for a class, workshop, course or special event to proceed. Sama Wellness Studio reserves the right to cancel a class, workshop, course or special event if a minimum number is not met. Should Sama Wellness Studio cancel, our live schedule will reflect this cancellation. If you have a booking you will be contacted via email and in app notification. prior to the start time that the class, workshop or event has been cancelled.
      • The booking window for classes closes 1 hour prior to the commencement of classes.
      • In the scenario that a class has no bookings, the class will be cancelled.
      • You may book into classes up to 4 weeks in advance, it is up to you to remember which classes you have booked into and cancel accordingly should your ability to attend change. If you have booked into a class and wish to cancel, you must process the cancellation through the online booking system or app at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled commencement time of the class. Cancellations via phone, email or any other method other than the online booking system or app will not be accepted. Students on an unlimited membership who book in and either do not cancel 2 hours prior to class or do not show up to class will be charged a $20 fee, and students on a pass based membership will have one class deducted. Payment or deduction will be automatically processed via the online system. We are unable to make any exceptions in the efforts of being fair and consistent to all.If you have put yourself on a waitlist this means you want to attend a class, and most times you will get in. Please ensure you monitor your notifications. If waiting for an early morning class it is your responsibility to wake up early enough to check if you have been added, otherwise please take yourself off the waitlist the night before.

      SOUND MASSAGE APPOINTMENTS, INFRARED SAUNA, CONTRAST THERAPY AND PRIVATE SESSIONS (1:1 – 1:3)

      • Appointments requires full pre-payment. A session is not considered confirmed until it is paid in full.
      • In the event Sama Wellness Studio cancels your appointment or Private Session, you are entitled to a full refund or option to reschedule with no cancellation or re-booking fee applied.
      • In the event of accident-related no-shows or unexpected illness related cancellations supported by a medical certificate, the missed appointment can, in the best case, be rescheduled for a later date or the difference of the appointment will be refunded (less AUD 20.00 administrative fee).

      The cancellation fee (regular appointment price) depends on the time of cancellation.

      Time of cancellation:

      • Up to 30 calendar days before the appointment/session starts – AUD 20.00
      • 29 to 8 calendar days before the appointment/session starts – 60% of the total cost
      • 7 to 0 calendar days before the appointment/session starts -100% of the total cost
      • In case of no-show – 100% of the total cost

      The rebooking fee depends on the time of rebooking.

      Time of rebooking:

      • Up to 30 calendar days before the appointment/session starts – AUD 20.00
      • 29 to 8 calendar days before the appointment/session starts – 60% of the total cost
      • 7 to 0 calendar days before the appointment/session starts -100% of the total cost

      EVENT AND GROUP BOOKINGS

      • Event or Group Bookings requires full pre-payment. A session/event is not considered confirmed until it is paid in full.
      • In the event Sama Wellness Studio cancels your Event or Group Booking, you are entitled to a full refund or option to reschedule with no cancellation or re-booking fee applied.
      • In the event of accident-related no-shows or unexpected illness related cancellations supported by a medical certificate, the missed Event or Group Booking can, in the best case, be rescheduled for a later date or the difference of the appointment or will be refunded (less AUD 50.00 administrative fee, and any travel related expenses).
